The Executive Board, subject to the control of the Governing Body, exercises all powers and performs all acts and things which may be exercised or done by the Authority.
Defense Housing Authority Quetta (DHA Quetta) was established under the Defense Housing Authority Quetta Act, 2015. Our mission is to manage and develop housing in Quetta, with our headquarters located here in the city.
The Governing Body, led by the Commander Southern Command Quetta, oversees the Authority. This includes the Chief Secretary of Balochistan, the Administrator of the Authority, and other members. Together, we review progress, set policies, approve budgets and audits, and handle other important business.
The Executive Board, under the guidance of the Governing Body, includes the President (Commander Southern Command Quetta), the Administrator, members nominated by the President, and the Secretary of the Authority. We work together to manage all Authority functions and ensure everything runs smoothly.
The Executive Board acquires land, starts projects, manages expenses, and enters into contracts. We work on projects in partnership with others, approve designs, and make sure our employees are well supported. We also create plans and schemes to improve our area.
We report to the Governing Body every year and meet as needed to discuss important matters.
The Act guides us in all our work, ensuring we follow the rules and regulations. We can cancel land agreements and are protected when we make decisions in good faith.
All the money we receive is put into "The Defense Housing Authority Quetta Fund" and managed carefully.
We make sure we have the right rules and regulations in place to keep everything running smoothly.
