The International Football Training Camp has officially commenced in Quetta, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of football development in the region. Organized jointly by the Government of Balochistan and DHA Quetta, the camp has brought together aspiring footballers united by passion, discipline, and a shared ambition to elevate their skills to international standards. The training camp is being conducted by six professional coaches from the UK-based Steven Gerrard Football Academy, who bring extensive international experience and technical expertise. Players from two age categories—5 to 12 years and 17 to 21 years—are participating in the camp, which is scheduled to run from 26 January to 5 February. In addition, dedicated training sessions for female players are also being organized. The program features well-structured training drills designed to challenge participants both physically and mentally, with a strong emphasis on speed, agility, coordination, and teamwork. Coaches are closely assessing individual performances and providing personalized feedback to help players refine their skills and maximize their potential. DHA Quetta’s participation underscores its strong commitment to sports development in Balochistan. This collaboration represents a significant step toward DHA Quetta’s vision of promoting healthy activities and revitalizing the sports culture across the province.
