Building a Safer Pakistan: Emerging Leaders Prepare for Enhanced Disaster Response
A comprehensive three-day Multi-Hazard Emergency Response Simulation Exercise commenced at Best Western Quetta, aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s institutional capacity for effective disaster management. The exercise brought together Probationary Assistant Commissioners and Section Officers, who participated in a series of structured, real-time disaster response simulations.
Organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with PDMA Balochistan, BCSA, and other key partner organizations, the initiative was designed to assess and enhance the operational readiness, decision-making abilities, and coordination skills of the participating officers. Throughout the training, participants demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and a strong commitment to public service. This capacity-building exercise reflects Pakistan’s continued dedication to advancing disaster preparedness and fostering a resilient and secure future for all citizens.
